Saving Organ Presets

Post by jeddy3 »

Hi Gang,

I'm struggling with saving the two Organ presets. It's probably blindingly simple, but for some reason I'm missing something (brain cells?). Any help greatly appreciated.

Steve

PS On a lighter note, I'm curious as to how many new Nord owners still have the film of plastic attached, thus preserving the OLED screen for as long as humanly possible (I've had my Electro 5 since April and it's still there!)

This is my solution (any correction appreciated...) :
- PROGRAM : find a free one : 5.01 for me
- PART LOWER : - ORGAN : double tap to get through : organ, piano, synth : choose organ (red light upon)
- PRESET1 : set your drawbars left hand,
- Effects section (right part of the keyboard) : Set Rotary ON (if you need it)
-Left of the keyboard : rotary fast (if fast disappears, it's because the effect is not selected in the effect section)
- PART UPPER : double tap to organ to select instrument.
- Effect = same as UPPER
- STORE AS : Select your location (5.10 for example) to store program to
- Shift/Storeas : to name it
- STORE AS : again to write.....

Very simple.....
Thanks Clavia to take all of us for such high level organ players...

Is it working when you "shift-tap" instead of "double tap" ?
Btw, when you press shift and turn a knob, do you have to current value displayed ?

Thx.
Shift + Turn Knob => no change to the sound, and nothing on the display screen ?

I hope this will be implemented in some future os release. Without that we have a screen but no mean to know current value of a knob.

Found it ... Owner's manual p4 :
Pressing and holding the SHIFT button while turning any knob will cause that parameter’s current value to be displayed without changing
