Hello everyone,
I'm new here, I recently bought a A1R. I read the entire manual and I still having issues.
My A1R from time to times, stops to respond the slot 3 and 4. It receives the midi but there's no sound.
I found a sort of a work around, I turn on then off the local midi... but its annoying, because the rack doesn't seem reliable to play alive.
Am I missing the point of some config in midi? Or anybody else had this kind of issue?
Please need some help here... thanks
Regards

Re: NORD LEAD A1R MIDI PROBLEM
You will need to tell us a great deal more about what you are doing and how you are doing it in order for us to provide you with a meaningful answer. Describe fully your entire rig, what you are using to feed midi signal to the Nord, what channel(s) it is set to, what channels your Nord's slots are set to, what the rest of your midi menu settings are, what you are trying to get the instrument to do, whether you are in program or performance mode. Without more information it is difficult to form an opinion/answer.

Re: NORD LEAD A1R MIDI PROBLEM
Hi, sorry for the delay to replay.
I'm using a mac running Logic Pro 9 and I guess that part of the problem was the Logic.
It was configured to send the midi message: "all controls off" in preference.
I've changed it in Logic and so far it looks like it's working.
Shaw, I don't use performance at all, it just happens in the multi timbral slot selection.
I was trying to use the A, B, C and D slot as midi channels 1, 2, 3 and 4.
But I guess it was a problem between the midi messages from Logic and the Nord, something that never happened with another synth for me.
Thanks guys so far!
Cheers
