Chuck, just out of curiosity what's your sub set at generally if the SS is at 12oclock? I just got the Behringer yesterday and I'm playing around with xover setting, levels, etc. thanks!

I think the sub is set higher than 12 o'clock, but I can't remember exactly where. I'm doing a rehearsal tonight, will report back. I set it high enough that you can perceive it's working, but not high enough that you hear a distinct tone from it. The way I use it, it's more about ambience than anything else.

Re: Review of CPS Spacestation V.3
Hi all,
The SS V.3 seems to be an interesting concept for my purposes. Since I live in Germany I wonder what the best way would be to get one. First of all, I understand that it can accommodate 220 V if rewired. Will that have to be done after purchasing? Second, will there be an official retailer in Europe? How will warranty be handled?
If one of you might know I'll be happy if you could share.
Thanks
Marcus

It would probably be best to email the manufacturer directly.adoors wrote:Hi all,

Thomann will be the official retailer in Germany. It's already listed in the online store.

Awesome, Abu, thanks a lot! Will place my pre-order today.
A further question I have is whether it is advisable to add a subwoofer. The lower cut-off frequency of the SS v.3 seems to be 100 Hz which I assume will lead to a loss of base in the piano sounds. Does anyone have a recommendation?

I've already ordered from Thomann - This speaker got so much positive feedback so looking forward to end of July (In stock from 20. July). I see others use it together with a Behringer B-1200D.

Re: Review of CPS Spacestation V.3
I've had the SS for a while now. To me, it sounds fine without the sub when playing with a bass player. When I do gigs where I play LH bass I use the BD1200 sub also. I would not attempt a LH bass gig without the sub as the SS doesn't produce the low frequencies required for that type of gig.
