Is there anyway to...
Got my 5D 73. On my Electro 4 73 SW, I was able to set the sustain pedal so that when I was using an organ sound, I could change the Leslie speed using the sustain pedal to toggle between fast and slow, Can this be done on the Electro 5? Can't see a way to do this in the menu.

From the manual:
Rotary Speed can also be controlled by attaching a pedal switch, sustain
pedal or the optional Nord Half Moon switch to the Rotor Pedal jack.

Yes, I saw that but it could be done from the sustain pedal jack before. On Piano patches it worked like a sustain but on Organ patches, it changed the Leslie speed. I suppose with the dual engine it has now been abandoned.
Thanks for your reply.

Hi Vinny,
Previously it was only possible to be in one mode at a time, Organ or Piano. WIthin that context the flexible nature of the pedal configuration possibility was meaningful. Now with the development of the NE5 this is no longer the case. Both Piano and Organ can be active simultaneously. As a consequence, it is not really practical to try to have things run the same way as on previous Electro models. The price of progress, one might say.
Bless,
Pablo

That makes no sense, given that even the Stage does this by default.
