matt here trying to get the best cable for my new nord electro 4d is says best works with stereo cables and i was wondering if anyone knows of
the best stereo to stereo unbalanced keyboard cable out there?

FWIW, a single "stereo cable" IS balanced. Two mono cables are an unbalanced stereo pair.

Quite honestly, any mid-priced cable will do the job. Avoid cables which are too thin. Neutrik connectors are definitely worth having, with Switchcraft being nearly as good.

The outputs (left & right) on the 4d are both unbalanced......no need for stereo (balanced TRS) type cables. Just use 2 good quality unbalanced (TS) cables and you will be set. The stereo imaging comes from the 2 outputs of the 4d, not from the type of cables you use.

I experienced weird and terrible sounding audio when I accidentally used a TRS cable on one channel. It seemed to short-circuit the L and R channels together in way that sounded like out-of-phase cancellation. Avoid the TRS type. Be careful not to plug them into your Nord.

For Nords, do not use stereo/TRS/balanced cables. The outputs of Nords are intended for mono/TS/unbalanced jacks only.
