Nord piano 2 update anytime soon??
Re: Nord piano 2 update anytime soon??
i thought the keyboard action was different between the two ('hammer' vs. 'semi-weighted') - am i wrong? that and the $1800 difference. but you're right marketing may come first, which is why i'm hoping folks will post more samples.

The NS2 comes in both flavours, but what I meant was they won't IMHO ever add organ to the NP as it is too far away from what the product is meant to be. It makes sense to support sample library because the piano part uses the same technology, but the organ modelling is a different engine and adds more cost, so you ultimately end up with the NS2
And now for something completely different...

Even the new Electros still do not offer what I would love to see in a new piano. That would be the ability to set key ranges while layering.....and more memory, of course!

I don't agree! The last one is good. I don't have it at home, but tried it our studio. Sounds and looks good!oyarsa wrote:Even the new Electros still do not offer what I would love to see in a new piano. That would be the ability to set key ranges while layering.....and more memory, of course!
