Hi, I know that Lead A1 is not designed for classic grand piano sound, but don't you know any way how to simulate its sound on this synth? Some modifications of any of predefined programs or to upload specific sound from PC?
Thank you,
Tom

Re: Piano on Lead A1
Hej Tom!
Classic grand piano is one of the most complex sounds you can find, I guess.
Accept that the dear A1 is a synth, and add an iPad or MacBook with a really good piano sample!
I do. When I travel light. And don't find any roadie to handle my S2 HA.

Hej Tom!
Just found this (with the help of Ricard).
http://www.teaser.fr/~amajorel/synsec/
Item 42 and forward ... post the patch here when you are done, please!
I would love to help you out with this, but it's 22:30 here in Sweden right now and my wife turns off the power in my studio and I have to go to bed. Sorry!

Marlowes, perhaps for Christmas you might consider getting her an auto-timer for the circuit breaker to your studio...

Or offer her a nord wave (your last GAS product you have in mind if I remember well....) in Pink.....I think you've never realized that she's pissed off of all your gear just because she doesn't like the color....custom them in Pink and you will see that she will love them....

Thank you Marlowes, article looks quite complicated but I definitely will give it a try. I'll write you in case of success.

Re: Piano on Lead A1
This is a bit of a necro-bump but I really need one of these too. Here is what I have been using (its a 4-layer patch) which is ok but its a bit more 'tines' than piano and there's an odd resonance I cannot tame in the attack. still, playing live, its OK.
Anybody accomplished better?

Re: Piano on Lead A1
hi
I also would like a piano sound on the lead a1.
it is a convenient mobile 4 octaves gear. and there are occasions that there is no need in the heavy 8 octaves piano.
I tried the two sounds above... it is good though but looking for a closer sound to piano.
it doesn't have to be great ...
will appreciate help.
thanks
