ARGuitar...obviously I share your frustration with the lack of information about the "amped" samples. I guess us Americans are just too focused on the details and we need to let it go and let the music flow
. I was surprised by the strong reactions when I asked what seemed to me to be a simple, non-controversial question and am glad to know someone else shares my thoughts on this. There are great things that go on inside those fours walls in Stockholm...but the walls are pretty thick.

Oh guys, I guess I was not misunderstood.
It's totally ok to want more information about what exactly is inside the box. I didn't mean to be rude in any way.
To be fair, I used to wonder the very same question and I've leanrt to let things go: I fell way better now. Obviously I tend to think some amongst us are following the path I've been on for years, and I tend to shout: "over here, it's over here!!"
But to each their way!
On a side note, you guys in America are -generally speaking- known for less overthinking while European are way more trying to evaluate everything beforehand etc. I'm surpirsed you said you guys should let things flow

Re: New EP7 Tines Amped & Electric Grand Amped
If Nord was just a little bit more forthcoming about how they created the samples, it might give me and a few others a better sense of how we might want to further color them.damasp wrote:I've loaded the new EP7 and the newest Amped Wurly. I think they are an improvement. I'm just wondering how much I'm missing out from using them on my Electro 3 SW73, knowing it doesn't have the added capabilities of the E4s or even the 3HP. I've deleted some sounds to make these two new ones fit. I noticed one other E3 SW user that has added them. Anyone else out there able to make a comparison with the two different boards and these two added sounds?

I hope they release new EP samples with the Stage 3. I have the feeling they will be much larger, and I will have room for only one electric piano an one acoustic piano. It's OK.
