Piano 2 or Electro?
Looking for a keyboard that has excellent piano, organ (B3), strings and pad. Needs the ability to switch from one sound to the next quickly: one "keystroke" would be ideal and/or preprogrammed sounds. Will be performing mostly with guitar heavy band so piano needs to cut thru some of the guitar sound. What do you recommend?

If you can't afford a Stage 2, get an EX88.
I wouldn't get an electro and I wouldn't get a piano.
The stage is a hugely powerful piece of kit.

You should audition the sounds, esp the B3 and the strings on the one hand, and the pianos on the other. Acoustic pianos are a very personal preference. A Kurzweil PC3 or Artis would have better strings and quite possibly APs and B3s more to your taste...
That said, I prefer the Stage over the Kurz for everything except the strings....

Re: Piano 2 or Electro?
Thanks for your input. I finally found a Nord to demo, fell in love and ordered the Stage2. It's perfect!
