I have used my dear old C1 in Stockholm for a while without the drawbar unit i built a couple of years ago.
Yesterday i took it to Stockholm and used it again.
The C1 sounded different. I know that it does not add any real sonic diff.
All it does is to send midi cc from two sets of old hammond drawabars.
The explonation is that since you can change the sound faster and more precisely on more than one at the time you are more likely to tweak the sound to fit the song and the room.
Hammond came up with a really clever man machine i terface with deawbars.
To all you iut ther with a C1 or C2 - i can recomend getting at least one set of drawbars. Check out the ocean beach u it if you aren' like me - a person who loves to tinker with a soldering iron

Hi, you made a set of drawbars? Can you expand on this a bit? (diagram/photo, if possible?).
