Nord C2 Velocity sensitive?

Post by BravoJr »

A quick question...

I want to use the lower manual on my C2 to trigger a Midi module for electric piano sounds. Could someone tell me if the keys are velocity sensitive?

Thanks!

C1 keyboard sure is velocity sensitive, don't think they change it in C2.

Hi
Yes, look at the manual on page 22:

Keyboard velocity
The Nord C2D can transmit keyboard velocity messages if the MIDI Local parameter (in the MIDI Menu) is set to Ext or the Keyboard Trig Mode is set to Low (in the System Menu).
