Can you check again for the model number?
Are we talking about the same thing?
that link you posted is for a BAG, not a case.
Buy a case, not a bag, don't put a nord inside a bag or you may regret it some day.
actually, if you care about any keyboard and you gig with it, never use a bag.
the other skb case i'm taking about is this one:

but this case is bigger, that's why for me, the case I have is the best choice.

Ok, I'm confused.

The specs I keep seeing for the Nord Stage "Bag" (GB76) shows interior dimensions of 16.9" x 51.2" x 7.9" which seems large considering the actual dimensions of the NS2. Are the bag interior dimensions accurate?

The SKB i-series case looks like it would be a decent fit, however it weighs nearly 19 lbs. (I too am interested in the OP's original concern regarding weight.)

The SKB model: 1SKB-KB76 would be a close fit and weighs 13.4 lbs.

Gator doesn't seem to have a reasonable offer for the NS2.

Roadrunner cases seem too big (76) or too small (61).

Kaces XPress Series Model: KB 76-Note Slim has these internal dimensions: 48.63" x 14.13" x 5.5". I didn't see the weight listed.

Any others?

You mean the original gig bags? I don't think nord have cases.
here is a link with the bags and the interior dimensions, the exterior may be 2 inch bigger I guess.

Mr_-G- wrote:The NS2-88 is heavy to carry - perhaps not so heavy for what it is - but you will probably struggle to walk with it on your own.
Sure you can move it short distances (around the house/venue, to load it in the car, etc) and the soft bag has wheels which makes it a bit easier.
But whichever you get, forget the "soft-bag" if you are not going to carry it in your own vehicle, where you can make sure that nothing else will be put on top, or dropped like a piece of luggage.
This. The HA88, while light for what it does, is still a pain to carry around. Carrying it around in public transit would probably be difficult (this coming from a guy who takes public transit for any other occasion).

I found length is a factor in addition to weight, even though it's only probably about 7 inches or so I switched from MO8 to 76EX because MO8 wouldn't fit in back of my fairly large car without leaning over rear seat (thus eliminating a needed passenger seat). Also 76 takes up less space on stage, a factor in small clubs. Also going up and down steps with a larger, heavier keyboard is much more difficult. I got the Nord bag and love it, handles in right place, good wheels, stair climbers, padding, big pocket for pedals & cords and pretty light. I rarely miss the extra keys and just find alternative keyboard parts to what I could play on 88 (the MO8 is in our practice space now). If I was dependent on public trans I'd probably go with a 73HP.

SKB's 3i-5014-KBD 76key $239 seems to be nice option if you want a hard case with the smallest possible dimensions. It has built in wheels, handles and life time warranty. I think it weigh approx 20 lbs. I don't like the additional weight but I do like the security knowing my keyboard knobs are safe from possible damage. I have the NS2 76 soft bag and I like it very much. But I worry that it does not provide the protection a $4000 keyboard deserves.
