I recently bought a new Nord Electro 3 HP (as in a couple days ago) and am concerned with what happens when I use the octave shift button to the highest setting.
The highest 4 notes (2 white, 2 black) do not seem to make any sound in Grand, Upright, E Pianos, or Harpsichord. Is this just a weird setting that I have the keyboard on, or is it a mechanical problem?
Thank you so much, I really appreciate this!

Re: Electro 3 HP Problem with High Keys
That's because Nord has limited the range of the high keys to the range of the real instruments. A real grand piano ends on the C and so does your NE3HP.

Re: Electro 3 HP Problem with High Keys
Thank you so much! I was so confused... and worried I would have to take it all the way back to the dealer! Thanks again!

Re: Electro 3 HP Problem with High Keys
Agreed. The instruments themselves have a limit to how high they go and the nord happens to have extra keys
