I am basically calling an unilateral executive fiat on my band and we WILL be playing a Purple number at our next gig. :-D

Spending another day listening through my DP collection, and I'm reminded of my honeymoon in Switzerland 11 years ago, at the end of our tour of the country of course we stayed in Geneva, right on the lake, just because of the Zappa incident and DP's immortalization of it.

(Of course we also visited Montreaux and Vevey for the connection to bands of the day, Zep/Floyd/Yes, etc.)

RIP Indeed you great keyboard player. May your riffs remain distorted and resonate loudly forever.

I am incredibly sad. He was so confident that his music would help him to win this health battle.
