Hey everyone. I'm having this issue where the store button doesn't seem to be registering. I try to store a program by pressing the store button and I don't get the LED flashing, can't store the program. I've managed to get it flashing and store a program two or three times in the course of 1.5 hours trying to fix, but it seems random and I couldn't tell you what button combination did it.
What's strange is that the button itself seems to be working. If I turn Memory Lock on and press STORE the display shows "LO" meaning "locked". Since it's producing feedback in that context, I'm thinking the button itself is physically working, and it must be a software issue. Any ideas? I think my next step is to go back to factory presets but I don't have a midi setup here so that's a tall order. If anyone's encountered anything like this before or has any tips for working it out I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hello nordguy and welcome to the forum.
I can't say anything sensible about the Electro 2 unfortunately, but it sounds like you did indeed exclude a problem with the button itself as a possible cause.

Hopefully someone else knows of some setting to 'magically' solve this issue
Could you post what the problem and the solution was? Might help someone else with the same issue in the future.

It was the dumbest problem. Turns out my Vibrato button is sticky, and when stuck/pressed down, the Store button wasn't working. I just un-stuck the Vibrato button and all was well.
Sucks because it only started happening while I was demo-ing my E2 for a buyer (I'm going down to a 61-key since we're touring a lot these days) who had already handed me the money, but then thought the better of it when it seemed broken. Hard to sell these on craigslist, for some reason. Anyway, I'm sure I'll figure it out.

Was any (sugary) liquid ever spilt on it? Because something sticky might have gotten under the vibrato button, causing it to stick. I mean the rubber switch below the vibrato button.
