Pedal noise demo

Post by Funk76 »

Hello,

i think about to buy the nord triple pedal, but i´m not sure if i need this really.
Can somebody upload a demo, including the pedal samples, to show how much more realistic it is?

cheers

nice playing :-)
thank you for the efford.

ok hmm that's not too much - i thought it is more organic, in a way, that influence the original sound.
but what i heared are just samples.
For me is no need to buy the triple pedal.

thank you anyway

On the NS2, the triple pedal does provide access to Latch and KBGate functions which are not available by any other means. Personally, I use KBGate LOTS for dynamic control in mixing voices in and out on the fly with my foot

Pablo, can you explain what you mean? I guess I don't know what KBGate does.

KBGate, when enabled, causes a sound to not play -- it is "gated" out of the mix. Personally, I fund this highly useful. For example, when playing bass it is sometimes nice to have a gtr pick along the bass 1-2 octaves up, but not on every single note of the line. With KBGate enabled, one can mix that gtr sound in and out on the fly with one foot on the middle pedal. Works nice for that slow attack long release string pad behind a piano. When playing fast passages the string pads turn everything to mud, so they can be gated out. Then when I get to the end of the phrase, I can let the strings loose...

Tom

That is true, you cannot have it on NS2 rev. A

Who said instead that Latch /KB Gate can only be achieved with the triple pedal is wrong, you can trigger it using a pedal connected to the Latch/Rotor input and selecting the Latch function for it in the System menu
