split keyboard LED - define colors

Post by TheJamLab »

I'm searching the NS3 PDF user manual and I am unable to locate the color definitions for the keyboard split LED markers. The green LED seems to indicate an active split as far as I can guess. I have no clue about the red LED as in factory patch A12 Hybrid Super MW. Are there more colors?

Thanks,
Kurt

There are 3 different colors of the split points dependent on the split witdh (cross-fade):
- no cross-fade
- 6 or
- 12 semitones.
Just check out for yourself what color stands for what setting.

See the manual on side 27:

It indicates the width of the cross fading. Green: 1 semitone, yellow: 6 semitones, and red: 12 semitones. (Refer to manual page 27) ;)

Ops, cross posting!

That Youtube link is dead, but I figured it out with the help from above.

Green is hard split (no x-fade)
Amber is x-fade = +/- 6
Red is x-face = +/- 12
