I am trying to activate a certain Arp note pattern by playing EFGC in succession with KB hold ON.

I have up/down selected because that is what i want it to do.

What I am trying to do is get the pattern to reset after note 8 is played once going through the 6 note sequence:

EFGCGFEF | EFGCGFEF

but it is doing this instead:

EFGCGF | EFGCGF

I thought if I set the pattern length to 8 instead of 6 that would make the sequence do what I wanted (since it should make it play EFGCGFEF and then restart), but changing the pattern length doesn't actually seem to do anything to how it is playing. It will only play EFGCGF repeatedly.

Any ideas? Is this not how Arps work at all? hah

I am a little confused, which notes are you holding on the keyboard? An up/down pattern should give you a reverse order, not the same. Please supply some more details. I have the Wave 2 which has the same arp as the NS4, so I should be able to reproduce what you are doing.
