iPhone/iPad holder for Nord Stage 3?

Hi everyone! First of all, I am a new Nord Stage 3 owner. I am happy that Nord has a community of very helpful members and I have learned a lot just by browsing the forums.

I am also an aspiring worship keyboardist at our church and I play a Nord Stage 2EX. I use my iPhone with an app to view chords and lyrics when we play during services as I still need reference for some of the songs that I have not fully memorized. The Nord Stage 2EX 88 key has a lot of flat surfaces that I can place my iPhone one, but sometimes I have a hard time viewing it because it lays flat and not more upright. I tried using one of those inexpensive phone holders but they would topple over during performance, LOL, to my chagrin.

May I ask if anyone has ever used a clamp or a gooseneck iPhone holder of some sort to hold an iPhone or a tablet so that it is more in easier to view? I know that I should just use a music rest, but sadly our Nord does not have one. Would appreciate any recommendation.

Our Nord is on an X-stand. I also have a mic stand on the side holding an iPad mini for controlling our IEMs, but I am unable to move it due to constraints of the cables and all.

Hi Randy,

If you have still some room on the mic stand, you should be able to add on of these:

If you have no room left, you'll maybe need an extra mic stand.
Way back, I've searched for a solution for another keyboard (Yamaha Tyros) and they have made these thing to put into the holes for the tablature holder or speaker holes:

Not sure if there is something for the Nord boards.

It's probably that product I use: a tablet holder in combination with an extension arm which in turn attaches to a mic stand (on its own or as a key stand accessory).

I built a pad holder (https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B077HWG365/) on my Ultimate AX48 stand. Also has the possibility to have it screwed on a camera stand.

Worked nice during last St Patrick's gig :

I have in the past experimented with various ways to fix my iPad close or on top of my keyboard. I ended with a silicone pad which I lay it on. The iPad sticks very good, and although it lays flat I can see it no matter if I play sitting or standing.

I tried a gooseneck which I mounted at the keyboard stand. It was way too wobbly while playing, I had the feeling that even the slightest movement of the board resulted in even heavier and longer lasting wobbling of the iPad.

I also tried putting it at a notes holder - too large on stage for me, I‘d like the thing almost invisible.

Once I saw a friend putting his iPad in one of the foldable iPad pockets/cases as shown in the second foto.

I use an easy solution, based on a table-stand for phone/tablet.
Underneath the stand I've attached magnetic bond, and this makes the stand sturdy and solid when attached to The Nord Stage.

My first proto for Samsung 10,5" tablet.
Works very well and best part is that you just drop it in to it´s place and still can adjust on one angle.

Next I will make a 3D model to remove the metal parts. I will post it here when done.
