Stage 4 pedal

Post by Jazzdoc52 »

i just purchased a Bstock nord stage 4 88 from proaudio star, and just recieved it. the board is in perfect condition, but the sustain pedal was not included. I messaged pro audio star and their reply to me is that the sustain pedal is not included in new or used keyboard. my question for you who have a new stage 4 , was the sustain pedal included witht the keyboard? thanks

The Stage 3 HA88 had a sustain pedal included, the Compact not. Thomann offers the Stage 4 in all flavours without pedal. Same with the Electros. Only the Piano and the Grand have a triple pedal included.

Nord shows the pedals as optional accessories in the specifications of the Nord Stage 4, included are just power and USB cords and the user manual:

I got sustain pedal when i bought my ns4 88. I was a bit disapointed that they did not include dust cover in the box tho. I got sustain pedal and dust cover in the box when i bought ns3 some years ago

I just received a NS4 73 from Guitar Center listed as an open box in new condition. No pedal included like it was in my NS3-88. I did some looking into it, thinking like you, that it was missing. It’s not. They don’t include it anymore. For all that money you’d think they could throw it in! So I’m off to buy another pedal….

Got no included pedal either with my NS4 88 (received a few months ago, ordered on Woodbrass).

Pedal might have been included by either some of the resellers as a special offer or have been a kind of gift by Nord on the first batch of products shipped (which I don't think), but the official information by Nord is that pedals are optional accessories and not included with any of the Stage 4 models. Whether it's good or bad is a different question, it for sure makes the total price increase at least of the Stage 4 88 even higher.
