Currently trying to import a 4 minute audio file which the editor keeps splitting into several samples over several keys. I want the whole thing to play from 1 key. Is there a way to join the parts ?

Hi - I’m away from my studio to check right now but if I remember right there is a ‘manual add’ sample option which lets you do this.

Seems the length was set after v2.28 of the NSE.
Install v2.28 and create your long sample : should work !

Nope, the 6D sample synth cannot do that (Nord Stage 2/3/4 Synth could as they have an Hold function).

Anyway, I would rather use something external to play a 4 minutes (!) "sample" (a backing track I guess), that is not what NE6 Sample Synth is intended and designed for, it would be so much easier to use a smartphone/tablet or any other WAV/MP3 player, connected to NE6 Monitor IN (if you don't have a mixer, otherwise you may go straight into it)...

So I could connect my laptop with sample into the Monitor in and it would play out front through the Nord?
