But the good news is that a new version of the driver is on its way.
Is there any news on this? As a Windows 11 user I am still facing security vulnerability using the old driver
If it's not mentioned on the official Nord website, then no...

I connected my new Grand to my Windows 11 laptop using the USB cable. I got the message that the usb driver could not be loaded due to Windows 11 memory protection. I went to Windows security to turn off memory protection but it says 'this is controlled by your administrator' However I am the only user and I am the administrator. So I'm stuck. Can anyone help?

A search of "windows 11 driver" on NUF would take you here general-nord-forum-f29/windows-10-pro-u ... 21768.html

Hi all,

a bit different than others, I wasn‘t able to turn off the core isolation on my MS Surface Pro 4 which I use at home for simple tasks like managing setups for my keyboards. It wasn‘t the „can only be turned of by an administrator“ issue since I was able to flip the switch to „off“. But with every restart, the switch was turned „on“ again. The regedit change didn‘t do the trick either.
So I‘ve turned off SecureBoot in the Bios (which is a requirement for core isolation to run) and now I‘m „fine“. At least able, to connect to my Nord Piano.

Just in case anyone comes across the same issue I had.

Best regards

1. Open RegEdit and navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios\HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity
2. Set "Enabled" to "0".
3. Reboot the PC
I just fell over the same problem - and this registry change helped!
Thanks a lot!

I've got a new windows computer running windows 11. Tried to install sound manager for my electro 5, and it doesn't load the USB driver . Device manager says "incompatible or corrupted file" I've unistalled and installed in every combo, but with sound manager and stand alone driver. Anyone else have this problem? Even better, anyone know how to fix it?

Thanks so much, this solution worked. I did a search for Windows 11 before, and it never came up!

Actually, that post was for Windows 10, but was the 5th search result :)
Glad you've fixed it.
