Somewhat off topic, but you can use the 3.5mm monitor input as an effects loop on the NS3 and NS4. I have the organ (when rotary speaker is off) set to send a mono signal from output 3 into a Hall of Fame Reverb and then to a Neo Vent II and send the stereo signal back into the NS3 monitor input. Works great!

I tried to use the monitor input to send the output of the Vent back into the Nord, but I found that I could not get enough output to engage the drive effect of the Vent. I am running mono out of the 3rd output, into an Organ Grinder pedal, and then into the monitor input. I have to peg the master volume of NS3 to truly get enough gain to push the pedal or just the Vent alone. When I switch to another patch during a song, the volume is too loud, and I must scramble to reach the volume knob. Any thoughts on how to remedy this situation?

Thanks,
Bill
