Nord Stage 4 Synth Volume and control
HI,
Is there a way to lock the 3 synth level volumes together so that the individual levels remain proportional but allow the combined volume to be adjusted? In other words, a master volume adjustment for the synth section? I know that morph is one solution, but then will tie up a morph controller.
Also is there a way to turn a synth section off quickly with a single press. At this time I have to hold the off button for over a second. This is not the best for turning off sections on the fly while playing. If I turn the section off by using the slider, I then have to readjust the level the next time I want turn the section on which again takes more time on the fly when wanting to simply switch synths off and on.
Thanks, Carb88

Unfortunately no, but if you only need that capability for a few songs, you could take the approach of making a sample of the three synths.Carb88 wrote:HI,

Re: Nord Stage 4 Synth Volume and control
There is no master volume for the synth section alone as WannitBBBad stated.
If you would only use the synth you could use the volume offset (press shift sound). But that is not the best solution in a live setting.
You can turn synth section off in one press by pressing the on/off button just above the synth screen.

I forgot that button was there. Pressing that button is just what I'm looking for (synth on/off at the very top).
Thanks.
Thanks.

You could COntrol them with the modwheel...missoundscape wrote:There is no master volume for the synth section alone as WannitBBBad stated.

Re: Nord Stage 4 Synth Volume and control
You can press section edit, then pull any one of the synth faders down, which will bring them all down at their current level, to zero.
