Save A Prayer .nsmp anyone?

Post by Arjan P »

Hey everyone,
I've been looking around the forum for this sequence sound for the Nord Electro 3. I did find some results, but all for the Nord Stage (nspg, ns2p, ns3f) and I'm obviously looking for an .nsmp - or a way to transform such a patch to an Electro sample.

Unfortunately the E3 has no delay (the 3HP does) but I have my old sequencer (Roland MSQ-100) taking care of that by programming double notes, which works nicely - I just don't have the right sound.

Any help is much appreciated!

I don't have that file (but should be relatively easy for you to sample it from the record, since it starts alone), but I am sure NE3 SW and HP differ only for the keyboard, other than that they share exactly the same functionalities, panel and effects, so both have the same Delay/Reverb FX

PS: you may also search for a similar synth sound on https://www.nordkeyboards.com/sound-lib ... land-jx-3p (not just JX3p page but also other)

I did try sampling the first note, but it doesn't come out right at all..
And I'm afraid you're wrong: the E3 has a reverb section and the 3HP has a Delay/Reverb section - at least that's what I read in my manual about the 3HP. It is specifically mentioned as a difference with illustration and all.

I did try several sound banks, but not sure about the JX-3P.. I'll give it a try, thanks!

My apologies, you are 100% right, I never noticed this difference, all other NE 4+ SW/HP models are identical ... :? Thanks

PS: I didn't mean just the JX-3P, from that link you can access the whole NSMP v1 Synth library, look at the menu on the left ;-)
