Back in the early 2000's I sampled my Rhodes, a 1977 Mark I / 73. I had built a soundfont from the samples, and later used sfz format. These are freely available on Github (no restrictions for musicians/producers.)

I now have an Electro 6D, so I selected the middle velocity layer and imported that into my Nord. Sadly, Nord doesn't support multiple velocity layers for user samples, so I layer this with EP8 Nefertiti to provide the growl at higher velocities.

Just to clarify on dynamics: when you create a sampleset with the "DYNAMICS" box checked, it gets a velocity-controlled lowpass filter. On the Nord keyboard's control panel you can select one of four dynamics ranges, but that affects only the volume. Whether the dynamic filter is assigned is controlled by the .nsamp file.

Would it be too cheeky to ask/suggest Clavia to make a multi-layer npno file with those?

I'd be delighted to provide my full sample set to Nord if they'd like to create a layered sample set from them. Admittedly, they're not up to Nord standards for sample sets. (As the creator, I could point to a number of flaws, of the kind that I never see in any Nord sample sets.) But heck, why not?

Whenever a company asks to rebundle my Rhodes samples into a product, I always allow it and ask for a copy of the (software) product. In this case, since I already have an Electro, I wouldn't demand that. But then, a Stage might be really nice!

In any case, if anyone tries the samples and has any requests for adjustments, just let me know. For example, I could use a different velocity layer.

But the BEST outcome would be if Nord were to support multi-layer user sample sets! So, everyone keep banging on that drum, please!
