Ok, so weird situation but hopefully someone can confirm if this would even be workable as I don't have a Wave 2 currently to test this myself.

My intention is to use the Wave 2 as both a synth and also to control some other modules. I have a switchable MIDI thru box that I plan on hooking up to do this. So basically, I'd turn local off on the Nord, hook it up to the MIDI thru, then one output back to the Nord and the other outputs to other gear. Then I can simply toggle from the MIDI box which devices I wish to play, in any combination, all from the Nord's keyboard.

My question, I see that basically every parameter has a MIDI CC on the Wave, which is great. Are these (and especially the morph sources) compromised over MIDI as compared to when the physical control on the synth is adjusted? For example if I set up the pedal to morph the filter cutoff, on the Nord it's smooth. Over MIDI will it be stepped or does the Nord smooth this out over MIDI as well?
