I notice that most of you are simply having the cracked sliders replaced with the identical ones from Nord. Won't these simply crack again?
Has anyone found a replacement slider that is actually metal and not plastic? Seems that is the way to go if you don't want to keep replacing them, no?

Sounds good but has a downside: If the cap won't crack anymore in a bad situation, the pot itself might get any shock applied from outside.
