Re: Nord Sound Manager 6.12
Hello,
I would have like to see what sound I'm using in the program, organ, piano or synth...not just sample. I have 20 organ user patchs and the only thing I see is piano or synth sample that I do not use in the info section...
I'm still very happy with the new options.
Regards,
Daniel

Re: Nord Sound Manager 6.12
I will have to check after work, but I believe it uses an OSC.
So, this section will display pianos that are in the slot but not turned on, and won't display anything if just the synth section is used? I understand now, thanks. This could be very much improved and in its present state in my opinion is counter intuitive and not very useful. This section should display only what is activated, including OSC, and not display what is *not* turned on. I would have expected it to display the actual sounds used in the program.

Yes , I think that the Info tool have been developped for the Nord piano 2. It can only have piano sample and/or synth sample in a program.

Yes, makes sense. Perhaps Nord will release a version that fully supports NS2 sometime in the future.

+ 1. The present version is disconcerting at first !DJKeys wrote:Yes, makes sense. Perhaps Nord will release a version that fully supports NS2 sometime in the future.

Re: Nord Sound Manager 6.12
well, it make sense from a programming perspective. It's a sound manager, it allows you to load samples and pianos in and out. I look at the program and I can give you a list of all of those sounds related to the program. It's an extra step to determine via the program if the sample/piano is actually used or not, and it's more work to determine settings that don't use the sample/piano. So, from a programming perspective that's additional. Though, i agree, from a usability perspective, just enumerating the sample/piano reference, while better than nothing, is not really as useful as it should be.
