Non stop constant midi-out signal from NL2
Dear Forum,
I’ve a continuous midi-in activity shown in my Cubase Pro 9 . It’s coming out of my nordlead 2 synthesizer!
Any idea how to solve this?
The strange thing is that this only started recently and I’m using the nl2 since many years.
As it just occurred maybe I accidentally changed a setting in the nl2, like sending midi clock?
How can I find out?
It’s quite annoying having this flashing meter in Cubase all the time an I would like to have the meter still visible.
Thank you for your kind support!

Sometimes this can be caused by a fluctuating reading from eg a control pedal or a somewhat dirty potentiometer (or perhaps the pitch bender or a modulation wheel).
Try to record the track and use the midi inspector in cubase to see what it is. Then you may know where the problem comes from.
Or try to dial all knobs and pedals and wheels to see if it goes away (at least for some time).

Well, first of all try to diagnose which MIDI messages are being sent (using the Cubase MIDI Monitor https://steinberg.help/cubase_plugin_re ... tor_r.html) then based on that you will know where/what to look for on the NL2

OK. That AmpEnv Attack pot is probably to be cleaned or (better) replaced.
As a final test, see if moving it to max or zero position stops the sending.

Dear member1140.html maxpiano,
sorry for the delayed reply. I did this final test and indeed at zero or max position the constant midi-out signal stops sending.
Thank you for all your help with this issues. Your support is very kind.
