Piano EQ Filters

Post by connorjosef »

Just curious, does anyone know if the piano filters are unique for each piano, or do the same set of EQ curves just be applied to every sample?

Good question. My assumption has always been that the Nord pianos are set so they sound authentic to the original with the EQ "flat", and the onboard EQ allows the user to adjust to their taste and acoustic environment.
Nord Stage 4 | Nord Stage 3 | SC Prophet T8 | Korg X50... In the past: Nord Stage EX, 2, 2EX | SC Prophet 5, 10 | MiniMoog | Hammond B3 & 122 Leslie | Yamaha DX7IIFD, EX5, CP60 | Hohner D6 | Fender Rhodes | Roland S-50, D-50, XP-50...

I believe connorjosef has meant the question differently. The dedicated „Piano-Filters“ (from NS3, NE6 and NP 4 on) are not individually tweaked for each piano sample, in my opinion.
