Homemade Dust Cover for NS3
Here is a home-made solution for Nord dust protection. Also works for cats. This was custom fit (with a hole saw) to sit on my old Ultimate X-stand.

Re: Homemade Dust Cover for NS3
Looks really cool - like a prominent piece in an exhibition. But I'd watch after a few weeks if it really fits as a dust cover: Dust is not always falling from above but is so light that it will be transported up and down in the air streams. On the photo, there seem to be considerable space around and above your instrument. So maybe this cover only protects from part of the dust you have in the air. I'm just not sure about the relation between the dust that is kept away and the dust that passes by anyway, but a few weeks should show you if it's good or not.

Re: Homemade Dust Cover for NS3
Yes, the open bottom is the flaw in the absolute dust protection. I must admit I was primarily concerned with cat protection when building. The extra clearance around the keyboard is so I won't have to remove cables. Anyway all dust protection seems to be flawed. During the construction of this project, I stored my Nord in a Roadrunner case under my bed for several weeks. I was alarmed to open it and find lots of tiny black threads all over my Nord, which had shed off of the lining in the case. Even the Nord dust cover that came with my NS3 would occasionally shed tiny red fragments of that wispy material (which shred to pieces only after a couple years anyway and I had to discard it). Then there is the dust that will collect on your board while it is out in the open and being played. No win.
