Proud to be part of the Nord family!
Took a little work and I'm not 100% sold on the CP8s (my issues outlined in a thread in the amplification section), but so far I think I'm happy with the sound. My only issue is the audible hiss from the speakers, but the hiss is there even without an input plugged in, so it isn't my signal chain.
I've got the Stage 3 going into a sub-mixer with Chase Bliss Blooper and Habit on aux sends. I’ve been having fun creating textures with feedback, sending the Habit to Blooper and back to Habit, both with long, frippotronic-style decay. The only thing left to do is to get the right side of the studio (Nord, Blooper, and Moog semi-modulars) MIDI-synced to the MPC for when I'm doing more rhythmic stuff.

Re: Welcome home, Stage 3
CP8's are entry level QSC speakers so some hiss doesn't surprise me. Plus using PA speakers for a home recording setup why don't you get a nice set of studio monitors and use the CP8's for gigging, or use good headphone at home. You got a flagship level keyboard need speakers that will let you hear all that quality sound.

Because I spent all my money on the Stage 3! haha
I hear you, and that's the same advice I recently in my other thread. Still within the return period of the CP8s, will probably return them for HS8s or Alpha 80s.
