Re: HERE IT COMES STAGE 4 ?
Thanks. Obviously prices dropped in the US down to European level. Not here around. Whatever this means.

Not at a level that would justify a $1000 price drop …

Re: HERE IT COMES STAGE 4 ?
Hmm, I‘ve just got some other thoughts in mind. What if thomann now, after some years with an own administration office in the USA, is contemplating a fully operating subsidiary in the States? I‘ve experienced in my toys-past that first reaction of the largest local players are price reductions, if the overall price level is higher than in Germany, to make the market entry less attractive. I‘ve read posts in the last 12 months that it seems so, even with US brands. Okay, this is all speculation and only one of my many thoughts, but at least possible. I‘ll stay tuned to it.
Cheers from Germany
Edit: I forgot to mention that the largest US player has a turnover of appr. 1.4 billion, and thomann is at about 1 billion, with an estimated market share of 70 % in all their european markets.

Re: HERE IT COMES STAGE 4 ?
I bought my NS2EX HA88 brand new (not B-stock) ar 2499€, which was exactly 1000€ less than the normal retail price.
But that was when the NS3 had already been announced and was starting to reach the market. In fact, I believe it was the very last unit cleared out by Thomann's, I didn't see any other one available from them after that.
It seems strange that such a drastic price cut (IF it will ever happen, for now there's no sign of it except a random post on an internet forum) is made months before the release of the new model.
If anything, retailers would probably want to maximize profits now, anticipating the inevitable price reduction once the new model comes out and they have to dump old stocks.

Re: HERE IT COMES STAGE 4 ?
If that is the case, I'd be a bit disappointed. I was really hoping for the new Electro and not the new Stage to be the next product.

I heard so as well, but since it’s not confirmed I did not want to post it here

Re: HERE IT COMES STAGE 4 ?
I think the only one that dropped in price is the 88. Stage 3 Compact still shows for $3500 on Sweetwater anyway.
