Ok, the way I think you need to measure the resistances is from red to red, and blue to blue, though. Not from one red to one blue.

The reading from red to red is 00.3 and from blue to blue 00.3

Well, as I mentioned before, the sweep of the range (from bent full left, to centre, to bent full right) is what's important, checking for gaps, smooth transition of values, and most importantly that the impedance at the endpoints is different. So fixed values like that aren't terribly useful - but that does look awfully like a dead short if you meant to indicate 0.3 ohms. Could you maybe get a pic of how the red / blue are wired to the individual sensor elements? I can't see that from your photo and I don't remember offhand how they're paired up, whether red is one of them and blue is the other or the reds and blues cross, and whether they're in series or parallel.

yes, I only get 0.3 on the meter when measuring red -> red or blue ->blue. Doesn’t change value when I move the bender.
Is this the right picture?

Yes, that's a great shot. Those look like 6802 = 68kOhm resistors in parallel with a 1DY11-6/350 DY type HBM strain gauge, but I could be wrong. The resistance between red and red at that point should be approximately 350 ohm - are you sure your meter range was correct? If you got truly 0.3 ohms and the meter range was correct, then either the strain gauge is shorted somehow (not terribly likely, it doesn't look physically damaged there) or there's a problem on the metering board circuit and you'll have to trace the paths back further - maybe there's a filter cap that's shorted across to ground or something...
