Power Conditioner?

Post by muzicman0 »

I mostly play at my church, but do some occasional playing at other locations (again, mostly churches). I want to get a Power Conditioner for the Stage 3 88.

Can someone who knows more about this stuff let me know if the Furman M-8DX is adequate? If there is something better, or cheaper, I would appreciate that info as well.

Thanks for any info!!

You might want to file through that thread: nord-stage-forum-f3/power-conditioner-o ... onditioner

I don't have such a power conditioner yet, but feel that it would comfort me in relation to the investment.

What I'm wondering about (from the European point of view?) is the form factor of the outlets: No idea why most power conditioners only have IEC-60320 C13 jacks - you always need adapter cables to connect your gear.
Stage-3-C (Rev.B 2.1) - Kawai VPC1 / Viscount Legend 70s / Yamaha CP33 - Hall of Fame & NeoVent2 - Behringer Flow-8 - K&M stands 18820+18811 / 18953+18952 - Samsung Tab S5e, MobileSheetsPro & AirTurn Duo200 - QSC K8.2s / Fischer InEars

I went ahead and got the Furman M-8DX. Hopefully it will be adequate. There has never been a power issue at the church I play at, so this is really a 'just in case' purchase for me.

I use the same one for my home practice setup with my Stage3, audio interface, studio monitors and charger for my iPad. It nice to have protection from spikes and one place to turn off all the power if necessary. We had a transformer in the neighborhood blow up a week ago and long power outage and no issues when power went out or came back online thanks having a power conditioner no worries either. Also no power line noise on the gear plugged into the power conditioner.

It’s basic but works fine. I use a PL-Plus C in my rack for piece of mind.
