String patch still responding to velocity somehow
This one is baffling me a bit and I must just be missing something simple. I'm using J:44 for strings, and all the velocity parameters seem to be off but it still responds to velocity. What am I missing? Shouldn't it just play at full velocity with no velocity parameters on?

Are both panels active, and you only disabled velocity parameters on one panel synth?

Did you check if velocity for filter or filterENV is also off?

A ha! I think that's what I was missing. The Vel/Mod Env knob amount. Thanks!

Re: String patch still responding to velocity somehow
The connection to envelope/filter dynamics is usually way more responsible for expressive behaviour than volume.
