Possible to replace Nord Wave 2 keybed with TP/8P?

Post by toshbeats »

I’m using the Nord Wave 2 as my primary gigging keyboard, but I want an action that’s closer to a piano.

Do you know if it’s possible to swap the TP/8O with a 61 key TP/8P?

Thanks,
Tosh

You are asking for trouble IMHO. I used to have a Lead which I bought a "better" Fatar keybed for. But after some consideration and sobering up I gave up the task to replace the original. Opt for an external extra keyboard if you feel uncomfortable with the original. I "come from" piano but are totally happy with the NW2 - my only keys right now! 8-)

Edit: (I'm an electrical engineer and should be able to grasp the task but decicded not to!)

NE3HP, NP88, NS2, DPP1, NL2X, NL2X, NLA1, NL4, NE5D, NW2 (Collect Them All?), some classic Rolands, Arturias, a Waldorf, a Kurz, a WONOK3, a pile of guitars, a P-bass, loopers, amps and computers ...
I'm a gearslut!

If a swedish electrical engineer gives up on a task that is mostly electrical engineering, it's serious business.
(As much as I dislike joking about stereotypes.)
