Hi guys,
It's somewhat a recurring question - I have electro 6d, and a macbook pro 2018. I want to record the nord directly to garageband. I have a PL audio cable that goes from the electro out to the macbook only audio jack. I know it's better using audio interface, but I don't have one right now and I just want to record some simple things.
But I can't make it work. The mac doesn't recognise nord at all and doesn't realize it's an input.
Anyone knows how to do it? Everything in the internet looks so easy, just "plug the line and it works!" and it never works for me :\

Re: Record on Macbook pro 2018
The 2018 MacBook Pro does not have a line audio input.
There is no way to make it work because it physically does not exist.
The only way to record your Nord's two outputs into the MacBook is to hook up an audio interface, I'm afraid. Any cheap class-compliant USB interface should do.

The Nord giveth; the Nord taketh away…
