If you "group" two layers and you group a Arpeggiator set to random, should both layers play the same 'random' notes or different ones?
I was trying to build a patch where the layers were acting like two oscillators on a synth so I could get a nice subby layer 2 to my FM layer 1, but then I realized that both layers are playing completely different notes than each other.
I understand 'conceptually' why this is - The group function simply makes both layers do the same thing, it's not necessarily one 'arp' controlling both layers, its two arps set to the same settings.
Do you think this is how it should work? Can you think of any way where both layers would do the same set of random steps?

Re: Arp RND Group behavior
I tested this as well and It appears that each keystroke on each layer starts on a different note, so random it is indeed. I don't think this use case was considered in development, and the design is probably why the vibrato doesn't sync across layers either.
