Nord, if you are listening...

Please consider a s/w update for the C2D as follows:

Independent High/Low trigger setting for manuals/zones.

Use Case 1
  • Set the Swell manual to high trigger for B3.
  • Set the Great manual to low trigger (drawbars off) for MIDI output to an external piano or synth engine.
Use Case 2 (the one I really want  )
  • Set Swell manual to High Trigger.
  • Split the Great manual. Upper half to high trigger, lower half to low trigger.
The MIDI output from the Great lower half can then be used as a MIDI controller to drive a module that responds to velocity (for bass) while and the B3 Swell and Great manuals would have a high trigger response, much more desired than low trigger. To prevent Great manual lower half audio from appearing in the organ output, engage "To Great" in the Pedal control and set the pedal drawbars to zero.

Edit:
And for extra credit, configure the programming of high/low zone-specific trigger point selection to be storable in the Preset Menu (rather than via the System Menu).
