How much weight can the Nord music stand safely hold?
Looking to potentially get the Nord music stand to go with a Nord grand - I want to maximize the space as much as possible on the flat top, so for example if I placed a effects pedalboard or desktop synth for example on the stand, would the weight be too much?
Re: How much weight can the Nord music stand safely hold?
I put one, or occasionally even two, big heavy music books on the stand without problems. By "big and heavy" I mean hundreds of pages, several kgs.
It's extremely sturdy, I don't think you'll have any problem with the weight.
As you mention pedalboards or synths, maybe the problem could be the ergonomics: those things are meant to be used horizontally, while the music stand is almost vertical. I don't know if pushing hard on it to activate pedals or play synths may put too much stress on the metal prongs that hold it in place. I don't think so, but maybe go cautiosly the first time, just to try it out!
