I just picked up a Pelican 1750 Case for my Nord Stage 2 Compact (SW73) and wanted to confirm that the case fits like a glove. I own the red Nord gig-bag, and am able to fit the whole package (Stage 2 inside gig bag) in this case.
It should be noted that I purchased the Pelican 1750 WITHOUT the foam, so I can remove the gig-bag directly from the case when I want more portability. The Nord gig-bag provides sufficient padding within the Pelican, and leaves me 4 or 5 inches to spare at the top. I'm able to fit a sustain pedal, organ swell pedal, two power cables and a 1/4" cable in this extra space
Both the Pelican 1700 and 1720 cases are too small for the Stage 2 73, but may fit smaller models.
I'd totally recommend this case to anyone looking for peace of mind while travelling with your Nord Stage 2 73!

Re: Nord Stage 2 Compact - Pelican 1750 Case
I use the very similar (in style and price) SKB 3i-5014-KBD. It will accommodate my Ns2-SW73 in its gig bag, but rather too snugly. I plan on shaving a bit of foam to ease that slightly. Have flown with it several times. Even with extra stuff packed in their, it's still under 50lbs, which saves BIG money.

Re: Nord Stage 2 Compact - Pelican 1750 Case
I've been needing a lighter flight case with wheels for my NSEX 73 and have been considering the 1750. I hadn't heard of the SKB 3i-5014-KBD but it looks great and weighs a lot less than the Pelican case. I'm curious about the "corner cleats" that secure the keyboard inside the case. Are those cleats adjustable? Just how tight is the fit with the soft case in it? Currently, I'm using the Nord soft case inside of my too heavy, no-wheel roadcase and I'd like to do the same with the SKB. Thanks for the tip!!

Re: Nord Stage 2 Compact - Pelican 1750 Case
Cleats are infinitely adjustable and rock-solid (it's a velcro thing); the soft case inside the hard case is just a little too snug, with the latches straining slightly to get it closed; needs a little adjustment to be perfect. I've flown both with and without soft case, no problems either way.

Re: Nord Stage 2 Compact - Pelican 1750 Case
Doing the math, it looks like the total weight will be (in pounds) 23.6 pelican + 7 gig bag + 22 keyboard = 52.6 total, which means you're paying at least $100 each way every time you fly with it... seems like a deal breaker to me.
Wish I had thought of this *before* ordering the pelican case :\
Has anyone had experience flying with this setup and found that it works out?
