Has anyone any speculation at all on when the Wave 2 will receive an update? I emailed Support with no response. It is clear that the NW2 will support the new NSMP v4 format, along with the NS3 and probably the E6. The NW2 is a relatively new keyboard, and it has been nearly 10 months since the last update, which is a long time.

As an owner of the NS3, I'd highly appreciate that, but to me, this isn't clear at all.

The fact that we found those instruments as part of the compatibility list in the draft of the new library may well have been a copied text module from Nord Sample Library 3.0. But if we'd profit from the new developments, I'd shout out hooray.

I just bought the NW2 and am happy with it, but I wonder if releasing it when they did (right before the pandemic) took the wind out of Nord's sales and also with many other choices out there. I haven't seen much press lately on this keyboard.

I don't doubt they will support it for a while but I was also surprised that it's been so long since an update.

Been reading up on the Wave 2 recently, and really interested. I'm sure another update will come at some point, it's relatively new.
Things I personally would love: chord memory and that polyphonic glide. Otherwise, I'd be pretty happy. With the 4 layers, seems like it's capable of a lot of different sounds with the combinations.

ugh man I wish it had polyglide so bad! that's currently part of the reason I'm still lugging my prophet 6 to gigs in addition to the wave2. I'm really wishing it had a few more options to give the oscillators more of the "vintage" sound that is pretty popular right now in the synth world.

I doubt we will see that feature, but the list of tweaks for that unit is getting long. Been almost a year now with no update.

Do sound sets count as updates? ^_^

Maybe they're prepping things for summer NAMM?? Got to stay optimistic.

Haha, no and yes! I would think NAMM for new products, not for updates of existing ones, though. They have to do the NSMP v4 update for sure-

I'm still waiting for an update for my W2! for example, being able to choose whether the sustain pedal affects this or that layer of sound. if I do a program with a bass on the left and a piano on the right, if I press the sustain pedal, both sounds are affected
