Nord Lead 2X midi implementation (HOLD)
hi all, i just realized you can't save a preset with the hold mode activated (for arpeggiators) and since my setup is all controlled from an MPC1000 i'd like to turn it on via midi before the part is played so i don't have to do it manually, but the midi implementation chart in the manual is incomplete, i'm not sure but i feel like it was possible to activate HOLD with a CC command but i forgot which one and i can't find the complete chart online, any help is appreciated, thanks.

i need the midi CC to activate the hold mode, this is not a situation where a sustain pedal would work, i'm dealing with a lot of different slots doing different things

Er, there's a standard CC for sustain, is what I'm getting at. That effectively enables the HOLD mode.

Sustain is CC 64. On my NW2, KB Hold is 23 and KB Hold Enable is 27, so they are different. Perhaps Nord was using the same values on the Lead 2X-

Yeah, the difference IIRC is that Hold affects the physical keyboard, but if you want to affect a MIDI channel, not the keyboard, you need to use the Sustain CC.
