Hi Nord
I have a question concerning expression (volume)
I have an old nord electro 3 seventythree organ, and it's great!
I also have an expression pedal - also an old one. It's a Yamaha pedal (stereo jack)
I have tried to find out how to use it when connecting to control pedal (rear) - but I haven't found the solution.
Can someone help?

Re: Expression pedal
Hi, you should read the "Morph" paragraph of the NS3 manual to learn how to map the CtrlPedal to NS3 parameters, on each Program.
If instead you want to use it as a Swell or Volume pedal (depending on System Settings), you should connect it to the SwellPedal input.

Re: Expression pedal
Maybe maxpiano's answer is dedicated to a Nord Stage 3 while you have an Electro 3. I think, there is no morph functionality on an Electro 3. Just read p. 7 in the Electro 3 manual to see what you have to do: Connect your pedal into the control pedal jack and set the system menu.

Thanks FZiegler, I misread the question (don't know why&how I transformed a NE3 into an NS3 )...

Re: Expression pedal
Page 7 of the manual explains this. https://www.nordkeyboards.com/downloads/nord-electro-3
The pedal can be used as a swell pedal for the organs, a volume pedal for pianos and samples and also as a controller for two of the effects: the P-wah and the ring modulator (RM)

Re: Expression pedal
Aside from these excellent suggestions from the forum's expert posters, and sorry if this is not relevant for the NE3, but on the NE5 you also have to activate the control pedal (for the keyboard zone (upper or lower) with the sound engine you want it to control)

Max, I will allow this mistake, just this one time, only because the question couldn't be more misplaced unless you'd found it in the Nord sewing machine bobbin gallery.
