octave transpose

Postby mobetter » 20 Apr 2021, 06:34

Ive got a stage 3 compact, is there a way to transpose 1 octave down.
the transpose button appears to only cover a range of +- 6 semi tones.

You might want to use the ‘octave shift’ buttons, they’re located directly under the volume knob of each section.

It depends on the splits you set, how many octaves you can shift: The octave shift function works for every split zone in a way that you can always reach at least (any part of) the full range of the 88 piano keys.

Don't use transpose for this, every engine has a two buttons, octave up and down.

If you are new to Nord I would recommend that you take the excellent courses from: https://www.mykeystomusic.com . That helped me a lot to get started and know the purpose of each button/knob in the keyboard.

Please don't. Just because an explanation makes sense when it's pointed out doesn't mean it was obvious. :)
