Hi
I'm trying to send a program change from my NS3 to A1, telling it to hit the exact performance D:30
When I'm in in Performance mode, the LSB 0, MSB 3 and PC 29 does work ok.
When the A1 is in program mode, the program change message doesn't tell it to switch from program to performance mode, and I can't find the right combination.
As far as I understand from the manual, the synth needs to already be in performance mode.
So....is there no way to convince it otherwise? Would really appreciate to be able to do the switching without laying a hand on the A1

The manual discusses your options in detail on page 33. You cannot switch modes, but you can change programs in any given slot regardless of the mode.
