Unable to save.
When I create a new sound that I want to save permanently, I first "like" it, then when I press Shift and Store, it doesn't save anything. I must be doing something wrong here!

Re: Unable to save.
Is there something like memory protection in the settings which should be switched off?

Re: Unable to save.
Shift and Store will put it in save as mode which will allow you to name it then you must hit store without the shift to actually save the patch to a location of your choice. Unless this process is different on the A1.

Shift-store to put it in the mode, twiddle the knob to get to the location you want to store, then shift-store again to store it. Ignore the knob twiddle to overwrite the old version of the current program with the new one. There are no names on A1 programs on the keyboard control surface. They are only editable in Sound Manager.

Re: Unable to save.
Hey guys, having the exact problem with my newly purchased A1R. Did anyone ever find a solution?
1. I make sure I am on the like which I want to save.
2. Press Shift + Store
3. Scroll using the Program knob and select a blank preset e.g. 8.1
4. Press Shift + Store (again)
5. I then turn the preset knob to a different preset e.g. 8.2 and then back, and it's wiped back to the original blank init!
This is killing me lol

Re: Unable to save.
Ah SOLVED it. Page 9 of the manual, had to remove memory protect by holding shift + System, then turning the program knob to set it off.
