Is there anyone that has a nord stage 2 program for the song "stop loving you" from toto.

I found a file for nord stage 3 (nord-stage-3-programs-ns3p-ns3pb-files-f32/stop-loving-you-toto-t19191.html) but I own a nord stage 2 EX.

Hi Joep and welcome to the forum!

I haven't got a patch for this, but you could download the NS3 program and use the Nord Stage Program viewer website that has been created by Florence (another forum member). This way you could see how the patch was programmed for the NS3 and duplicate the settings to your NS2.

As part of the NS Program Viewer, I would appreciate if you could post here your NS2 version of the NS3 program, once created.
This could be a nice reply for all the work that has been done for this Viewer and I'm pretty sure some NS2 users would also benefit from your program !

Hi, it's probably not as good as the other file, but here is the sound I use when playing this song with my band. My Kronos handles the (synth) Brass so that's not in here. This is just the layered piano with strings and the intro arpeggio. MW controls the amount of strings (down = more). Sorry for the crappy playing, but you'll get the jist.

I have also created a program with the help of the nord stage program viewer and the program for the nord stage 3 that I have mentioned above. For the synths I use the "Super Saw ste PH" from this link: nord-user-samples-nsmp-samples-f14/stage-3-super-waves-t14761.html

This came somewhat close to the synths used in the nord stage 3 program. The rest of the sounds are piano's that can be found in the sound library of Nord. The volume of the sounds still need some tweeking but overall I am satisfied with my first program that I post on this website.

Note:
- I use a control pedal to make the strings louder and the piano softer in the chorus part of the song.
- I do not play the brass section, so that is not in the program.
- I used my rocksmith cable to record something, so it will not be the best quality XD
